Heritage Villers
The Heritage Villers scented candle draws its inspiration from the Cistercian Abbey of Villers-la-Ville, a remarkable jewel of Romanesque and Gothic architecture founded in 1146 in Walloon Brabant, Belgium. This historic sanctuary of stone and silence becomes the artistic foundation of a collection where craftsmanship and legacy converge.
The glass is first painted in our workshop with a delicate transparent grey veil, creating depth and subtle mystery. It is then carefully hand-engraved with a graphic motif inspired by Art Deco, forming a striking contrast between medieval architecture and modern geometry.
The result is an object where time dissolves — where history and contemporary design coexist in a decorative expression that feels both timeless and unexpected. When illuminated, the engraved patterns come alive, revealing a refined interplay of shadow and light.
Heritage Villers is more than a candle; it is an artistic statement that celebrates memory, craftsmanship, and modern elegance.
Fragrance Notes:
The fragrance of Heritage Villers evokes a springtime walk through the quiet ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Villers-la-Ville, where stone walls are softened by light and blooming flowers.
Hyacinth opens the composition with a fresh, luminous floral note, gently unfolding into the graceful heart of lily. Almond blossom lingers at the base, adding a subtle gourmand softness — delicate, comforting, and quietly addictive.
This refined floral trail envelops the engraved gray glass in a veil of tenderness, enhancing its sculptural beauty with an aura that is both elegant and captivating.
